Balkan-Mediterranean Centre for Entrepreneurship and innovation 


 

BalkanMed INNOVA Project was presented in the exhibition of Local Products 2019, on 13, 14 and 15 September 2019 held in Arta, Greece by the Laboratory of Knowledge and Intelligent Computing (KIC), of the University of Ioannina, Greek partner of the Project.

The exhibition attracted a large number of visitors, who were particularly interested in the actions and objectives of the BalkanMed INNOVA project. The team of KIC LAB informed the visitors for the free online courses of the Web-School for Entrepreneurial and lifelong learning that will be implemented within the framework of the project BalkanMed INNOVA. Furthermore, demonstrative actions took place including registration and operation procedures on the Web-School platform in order to attend the courses. The visitors were also informed on the launching of the courses they were interested in. In addition, they were also informed that after the successful completion of the modules they will receive a Certificate of Attendance. Finally, an elaborative communication campaign was conducted for the financial support provided by the BalkanMed INNOVA project as an award for the most innovative business ideas.

Several stakeholders were motivated to register on the e-learning platform in order to take advantage and improve their knowledge & skills in the fields of:

  • ICT for SMEs
  • Cultural Heritage and Tourism
  • Energy and Environment
  • Agribusiness
  • Entrepreneurship Culture and Business Ethics

Leaflets and promotional material were also produced and distributed by the KIC-LAB team to all visitors.
