BalkanMed INNOVA Web-School 

BalkanMed INNOVA has developed an open to all virtual, cloud-based mechanism, the BalkanMed INNOVA Web-School, which ensures exchange and transfer of knowledge among the participating territories. An open to all, transitional training procedure, (by open e-Courses) improves skills and bridges the gap between any academic education, vocational training & practical entrepreneurial learning, as well as between academic education and labour market.

Financial support of the most innovative business idea

Are you interested in personalized tutoring/mentoring and financial support to deliver your innovative business idea?


By promoting entrepreneurial culture and encouragement, any participant will be able to set-up his own start-up so that to reduce the brain drain phenomena. It is mentioned the peer mentoring and e-tutoring for start-ups and the tangible results of at least 10 granted new start-ups produced within BalkanMed Innova project with the amount of 4.000   €.


Participation in exhibitions & events


Project was presented in the exhibition of Local Products 2019, on 23, 24 and 25 August 2019 held in Preveza, Greece and on 13, 14 and 15 September 2019 held in Arta, Greece by the Laboratory of Knowledge and Intelligent Computing (KIC), of the University of Ioannina



The Project was also presented in the 11th Congress of Women’s Entrepreneurship of Adriatic and Ionian Area, on 16, 17 and 18 October 2019 held in Arta, Greece by the Laboratory of Knowledge and Intelligent Computing (KIC), of the University of Ioannina.


The BalkanMed INNOVA project was presented by Mr. Petrit Dobi – Executive Director of RASP, in the event entitled "Balkan Agri-Food Festival" organized on 30-31 October 2019, at the Agricultural University of Tirana, in the framework of the project "Balkan ideas Network for Sustainable Innovation in the Agro-Food Sector”.


Virtual classrooms for entrepreneurs & smes

Within the BalkanMed INNOVA project will be implemented webinars for existing entrepreneurs and SMEs in order the transnational knowledge to be transferred. Through the webinars, the participants will have the ability to exchange good practices, training on case studies and expand their competencies.

4th Project Steering Committee meeting

In the framework of the BalkanMed INNOVA project, it was held on 07-08 November 2019 at Hotel "Prestige" in Tirana, the 4th Project Steering Committee Meeting, attended by representatives from the 6 partners that are:

  • University of Ioannina, Greece;
  • Joint Innovation Centre of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Bulgaria;
  • Youth Entrepreneurial Service Foundation, North Makedonia;
  • Rural Association Support Programme, Albania;
  • Cyprus University of Technology, Cyprus
  • ELORIS SA, Greece.
